Mount Revelstoke National Park

While enjoying Revelstoke make sure you make time to visit Mount Revelstoke. Enjoy the beautiful 26 km drive on the Meadows in the Sky Parkway. This winding paved road leads you to the summit of Mt Revelstoke with many view points along the way for great picture taking opportunities. Mount Revelstoke is the only park in the Canadian National Park system that allows for private vehicles to access a mountaintop environment.

If you are looking at doing some hiking while visiting Mount Revelstoke National Park there is something for every skill level. Mount Revelstoke's trails range form short, valley-bottom strolls, to steep, tough climbs. For the novice hikers Giant Cedars offers a half kilometer boardwalk that takes you into the old growth forests. Here you can see cedar trees that can be over 500 years old.

In the winter come and enjoy the cross-country skiing. Mount Revelstoke has a cross-country ski track 8 km up the plowed mountain road. For the more adventuresome you can backcountry ski and snowshoe from there.
